We are pleased to announce that the OIKOS Laboratory has expanded its flexible scope of accreditation with new determinations of chemical factors in the workplace environment.
New determinations within the flexible scope
- butan-2-one oxime (MEKO, CAS 96-29-7)
- 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP, CAS 124-68-5)
What this means for our clients
The expansion of the accreditation scope is the result of our ongoing strategy of developing laboratory competencies and improving testing methods. It allows us to provide our clients with an even broader range of tests performed in accordance with accreditation requirements and applicable occupational health and safety regulations.
The implementation of these new determinations allows us to more effectively support employers and OHS services in assessing occupational exposure to chemical factors and in fulfilling workplace environment monitoring obligations — particularly in industries using MEKO and AMP, such as paint and coatings production and cosmetics manufacturing.
