The Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) has confirmed renewal of OIKOS proficiency-testing-provider accreditation PT 010 under PN-EN ISO/IEC 17043:2023-10. The renewed certificate was issued on 24 July 2025 and signed by PCA Director Lucyna Olborska.
The renewal confirms OIKOS as one of a small number of accredited proficiency-testing organisers in Poland and consolidates more than a decade of continuous PT 010 accreditation.
What the renewal covers
PT 010 covers OIKOS as an organiser of inter-laboratory comparison programmes across nine domains: workplace and environmental noise, mechanical vibration, thermal microclimate, lighting, dust fractions, carbon monoxide, organic substances, and ultrasonic noise. Updated reference documents apply from 24 July 2025 forward.
Why this matters for participating laboratories
- Continuity – laboratories already participating in OIKOS PT programmes can rely on uninterrupted accredited service.
- Updated reference – the renewed scope reflects the latest PN-EN ISO/IEC 17043:2023-10 edition.
- Documentation – the new PCA certificate is available on request for quality-system files and PCA audit evidence.
- Recognition – PT participation under an accredited organiser remains a recognised method of demonstrating measurement competence under PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 clause 7.7.
