OIKOS manufactures and distributes air sampling devices for workplace and atmospheric air sampling: aerosols (heavy metals, hexavalent chromium), sorbent tubes for organic substances and formaldehyde, and absorption solutions for chemical substances analysed by spectrophotometric or chromatographic methods. Each sampler is validated within the management system of accredited laboratory AB 934 (PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025) — including blank sample checks and recovery tests, so the ordering laboratory does not need to repeat them.

Filters, Sorbent Tubes, Absorption Solutions — Validated
Each sampler type has been validated by OIKOS for use with the analytical methods covered by the AB 934 accreditation scope. Validation includes blank sample checks and determination of analyte recovery from the sampler matrix. Ordering laboratories are not required to perform these checks themselves — validation documentation is supplied with each sampler batch and can be incorporated directly into the ordering laboratory’s quality system.
Using OIKOS samplers in combination with analysis performed by OIKOS under a subcontracting arrangement creates a fully documented chain: sampling → transport → analysis → accredited test report.
As an organiser of proficiency testing programmes (PT 010, PN-EN ISO/IEC 17043), OIKOS regularly verifies the correctness of its analytical methods under external conditions — which indirectly corroborates the validity of sampler validation.

Sampler Ordering Questions
What does "validated sampler" mean in practice?
It means that OIKOS has performed blank sample checks and determined analyte recovery from the sampler matrix for each sampler type, in accordance with the requirements of the analytical method covered by AB 934 scope. The ordering laboratory receives ready-to-use documentation and does not need to repeat these checks.
Do we need to perform our own blank sample checks when using OIKOS samplers?
No. Validation includes blank sample checks performed by OIKOS. The documentation supplied with the sampler batch can serve as the basis for waiving the requirement to perform your own blank sample checks, provided this is consistent with your quality system procedures.
How do I place a sampler order?
Orders should be placed by email to probniki@oikoslab.pl. Please specify the sampler type, quantity, and required delivery date.
When are orders dispatched?
Shipments are not made on Fridays or days before public holidays. Orders placed after 10:00 are dispatched on the next working shipping day.
Are OIKOS samplers compatible with analyses performed by other laboratories?
OIKOS samplers are validated specifically for the analytical methods used by OIKOS (AB 934 scope). Their use with methods of other laboratories requires compatibility assessment by the ordering laboratory. For best results, we recommend ordering both sampling and analysis from OIKOS.
