Legally Regulated Areas

An accredited testing laboratory whose results can be used by regulatory authorities in areas governed by statutory requirements.

“Legally regulated areas” are conformity-assessment domains for which the law sets specific requirements — for example permissible concentrations or limit values of substances, permissible noise levels and similar. Regulations may impose additional requirements, such as prescribed measurement methods or accredited evidence of laboratory competence. Test results can be used in regulated areas — i.e. accepted by regulatory authorities — only when the laboratory complies with statutory requirements, such as holding the required accreditation.

OIKOS is an accredited testing laboratory, and the results we issue are used in legally regulated areas.

Testing laboratory accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA), an EA MLA signatory, accreditation number AB 934.
